Agnes Marguerite Cook (Humphries)
Cook, Agnes Marguerite – Surrounded by her family, Agnes Marguerite Cook (nee Humphries) in her 88th year passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Victoria Hospital in London after a short illness. Beloved wife of Harold John “Jack” for 68 1/2 years. Loving mother of Gordon (Sharon) Cook, Janice (Earl, 1999) Sharpe, Larry (Susan), Ernie (Linda), Bruce (Virginia), Doug (Wendy), Bryan (Arlene), and Glenn (Manon) Cook. Agnes loved and was loved by her 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other “family” members. Predeceased by her sister Betty Tidball (2010) and sister-in-law Dorothy Kennedy (2014). She lived most of her life in the Thedford area and was actively involved in her church and community. She continued her interest in people around her when they moved to Warwick Village close to 30 years ago. She was an active member of the “Grandma Grapevine” and will be missed. Resting at Gilpin Funeral Chapel in Forest for visitation on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 1-4pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 2:00pm. Interment at Pinehill Cemetery with Rev. Doug Wright officiating. Memorial donations to the Thedford/Sylvan United Church or Operation Smile Canada gratefully acknowledged.
